Answer: The recommended operating ambient temperature is 0°C to 35°C.
Note
Within this temperature range, the machine can maintain stable operation, and the laser module and electronic components can operate under optimal conditions. If the ambient temperature falls below 0°C, the laser module may require a longer warm-up time to start, and increased lubricant viscosity may affect smooth movement. If the temperature exceeds 35°C, insufficient heat dissipation may trigger the machine's overheat protection or accelerate component aging.
Answer: When the ambient temperature is below 0°C, the laser module may require a longer warm-up time to start, and increased lubricant viscosity may affect smooth movement.
Answer: No. Reflective materials cannot be engraved directly. Before engraving reflective materials, the surface must first be treated to reduce reflectivity, such as by sanding or applying a black coating, to lower the surface reflectance and ensure that the laser energy is effectively absorbed.
Risk Warning:
Reflective materials, such as mirror-finish metals and high-gloss acrylic, can reflect laser radiation, potentially damaging internal components of the laser module or causing accidental burns or property damage due to changes in the reflection angle.
Recommended Treatment: It is recommended to reduce the material's surface reflectivity before engraving, for example, by applying black paint with an oil-based marker or using sandblasting. This helps ensure safe processing and better engraving results.
Answer: Please refer to the Maintenance section for details.
Answer: To ensure personal safety and stable operation of the equipment, do not engrave the following materials:
PVC and Chlorine-Containing Plastics: May release toxic chlorine gas during engraving, which is harmful to human health and may corrode the equipment.
Metals with Unknown Coatings: The composition of the surface coating may be unknown and could produce toxic fumes or cause abnormal laser reflections.
Highly Reflective Mirror-Like Materials (such as untreated mirror-finish metals): May reflect laser radiation and damage internal components of the laser module.
Processing Recommendations:
Before officially engraving materials with unknown or uncertain composition, it is recommended to conduct a test at low laser power. Check for any unusual fumes, sparks, or reflections, and proceed with batch processing only after confirming that the material can be processed safely.
If the material produces a pungent odor, open flames, or abnormal splattering during testing, stop processing immediately.
Answer: To ensure stable operation and extend the service life of the equipment, the following recommendations should be followed:
Continuous Operating Time: It is recommended to turn off the machine and allow it to rest for 5 minutes after every 2 hours of continuous operation, allowing the laser module and drive circuits to cool down sufficiently. Lens Cleaning Frequency:
Blue Diode Laser: Clean the lens once every 4 hours of continuous use.
Infrared Laser: Clean the lens once every 24 hours of continuous use.
Note
Regular lens cleaning helps prevent smoke and splattered material from burning onto the lens surface, avoiding blocked laser paths or irreversible lens damage caused by contamination.
If processing materials that generate large amounts of smoke or fumes for extended periods, such as wood or leather, it is recommended to increase the cleaning frequency as appropriate.
Answer: If the engraving machine is going to remain unused for an extended period, follow the recommendations below to help extend its service life:
Store the engraving machine in a dry, dust-free environment to prevent moisture from affecting or oxidizing electronic components.
